Supporting Workday Customers with Luke Switkowski, Kognitiv

The HR Gazette Season 1 Episode 468

In this HRchat we discuss ways a comprehensive recruitment funnel can be beneficial to acquiring top talent. Listen too, as we offer some tips for those looking to shake up their employer branding efforts.

Our guest today is Luke Switkowski, CEO and Founder of Kognitiv, a company offering Workday consulting and professional support.

As one of the founders of Kognitiv, Luke understands that going live with Kognitiv’s new system is just the first step in a long partnership with Workday and its ecosystem. Implementations are fast and furious, with work like reports, dashboards, and knowledge transfer often postponed until after a go-live.

Starting Kognitiv gave Luke the space to find and implement a consulting model that made sense logistically and validated his theories on its structure while fostering a work culture fueled on collective team successes and never-ending support for one another.

Questions for Luke include:

  • You work with human resources teams at hundreds of companies every day. What are you seeing in the way of hiring trends right now? What are the biggest common pain points and how are you helping them overcome these challenges?
  • What are your predictions for the post-pandemic rollout of hybrid work policies?
  • In a time when it's hard to engage top talent, how does the interview process play into the talent acquisition strategy?
  • How does the hiring process relate to employer branding and reputation management?
  • Promoting from within - does Kognitiv do this because achieving culture fit is tough?
  • A comprehensive funnel can be hugely beneficial for acquiring the best talent to move your team forward. But, can HR technology backfire if not implemented or managed properly?
  • How do you recommend teams approach this important HR tech infrastructure development to positively impact their talent acquisition strategy moving forward?
