Giving the Deskless Workforce Tools to Thrive w/ Jordan Ekers, Nudge
According to the recent State of Technology for the Deskless Workforce report, deskless staff make up to 80 percent of the global working population.
Despite this significant number, non-desk workers have been overlooked by tech companies and their IT teams in terms of the tools and technologies at their disposal. In fact, only 1 percent of enterprise software investment is allocated to the deskless workforce!
This risks deskless employees feeling isolated and disengaged as they lack the latest tools to perform their jobs effectively, while their office-based co-workers benefit from technologies like digital workplace solutions, ERPs, CRMs, and more.
